manako ORGANIC Evening Primrose Oil from certified organic cultivation, cold pressed, 100% pure, 500 ml dosage bottle
Have you ever heard of the German rampion? Or the hog weed or King's cure-all? The vernacular language has given this plant many names. The reason is most probably the amazing versatility! However all these names point to one impressive plant:
The Evening primrose (Oenothera biennis)
The evening primrose is a wild plant and was originally domestic in North America. The Native American tribes that were living there already knew about the wide-ranging fields of applicaton. They used it to treat skin diseases and painful respiratory problems. Today this plant is common across the continent. It reached Europe in the 17th Century and was initially introduced as ornamental plant but did escape to the wild pretty quickly, where it rapidly spread.
Up-to-date Primrose oil from the seeds of this plant is highly estimated because it has a high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids – particularly the gamma-linolenic acid.
Note: Store in a cool place and keep away from light.
