MAKANA Electrolyte COMPLEX is a complex Electrolyte concentrate and consists of highly dosed Electrolyte with amino acids and trace elements.

Lysine is an essential amino acid. This means it cannot be produced by the body and must be obtained from dietary intake. It is a necessary building block for proteins and plays a major role in building muscle protein. Especially muscle growth is being optimised by supplying Lysine. Methionine is a sulphur containing amino acid and protein building block that promotes the growth of horn and hair. Zinc is an important trace element and as such represented in many enzymes of the body. It promotes growth and development.

The need for an additional electrolyte replenishment can occur when the horse undergoes a high loss of fluids that can be caused through sweating, fever or diarrhoea. To ensure and maintain the willingness and ability of performance horses and to strengthen weakened horses the compensation of this loss is essential.

Due to its liquid form MAKANA Electrolyte COMPLEX is quickly available and can be optimally absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract. If needed the product can be given with an oral syringe as well. The product does not contain any doping substances.

In compensation to electrolyte losses due to excessive perspiration: Horses (600 kg body weight) 40-80 ml daily together with the daily feed or drinking water. Smaller horses and ponies 20-40 ml daily. Offer freely available drinking water. Feeding period: 1-3 days.

When expecting digestive disorders (diarrhoea) with foals: Foals (50-300 kg body weight) depending from age and weight 40-80 ml daily together with drinking water. Feeding period: 1-7 days.
